Manchester United will be looking to continue their UEFA Europa League unbeaten run as they welcome Partizan Belgrade to Old Trafford on Thursday.

The Red Devils have won two & drawn one of their last 3 UEL outings, garnering 7 points in the process. Another home win tonight will ensure an early qualification to the second round for the club.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be expecting some sort of response from his United side against "The Steamroller" (United beat Partizan in Belgrade a fortnight ago) after a 1-0 loss at the weekend to AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League. The club was hoping to make it 4 away wins on the road before succumbing to Josh King's lone goal at Dean Court.

There are injury worries for United as OGS confirmed Victor Lindelof will miss the tie due to a knock he suffered vs Chelsea. Paul Pogba is sidelined till December while it's too early to expect Axel Tuanzebe, Diogo Dalot, Nemanja Matic & Luke Shaw to return to action.

United fans can envisage a slightly changed starting line-up since games will be coming thick and fast for the club as the year comes to an end. A mixture of youth & experience is always the case for OGS in cup competitions.

Mason Greenwood will be hoping to score another European goal if selected, his late winner vs Astana was United's only goal on the night and that made him the club's youngest(17 years, 353 days)ever scorer in European competitions. The Academy graduate will be raring to get back on the score sheet for the first team after netting in his last U23s game.

Everyone at the club knows the importance of this competition as it's the easiest route back to Champions League football. An early qualification to the knock-out stages with two games to spare will be a step in the right direction for the club. There will be time to focus more on the Premier League, with OGS overseeing the club's worst start in 33 years.

Manchester United won the trophy in 2017 during Jose Mourinho's first year at the club and they will gladly wish to repeat that feat again in 2020.
